Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center Reduced Admission
Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., 4801 La Crosse Avenue
$6 per person, Free for UT students, faculty and staff with their UT ID
Enjoy reduced admission and spend time wandering the trails, strolling through the gardens, or swinging under the trees. Admission includes the Fortlandia exhibit, a collection of unique forts by local architecture and design firms, individual artists, and students from the University of Texas.
 
Museum at the LBJ Presidential Library - 36th President and Motown exhibits
Saturday, 9 a.m. -5 p.m., 2313 Red River Street

The Museum at the LBJ Presidential Library is a treasure on campus. One of only 14 Presidential Libraries nationwide, and administered by the National Archives and Records Administration, the museum hosts more than 150,000 visitors annually. Learn about our 36th President and so much more. Current exhibit, Motown: The Sound of Young America, A 60 Year Perspective is also available.
 
Gliding Revolution Afternoon in Austin Tour

Sunday, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 2-4:30 p.m., Gliding Revolution, 1403 Lavaca Street
$82.45 per person, includes insurance and guide gratuity
Segway tour of downtown Austin. At the Capitol, learn a detailed account of early Austin, when Sam Houston acted as president of the Republic of Texas. Segway to a more modern experience gliding through the live music district. Discover new Austin hotspots, explore decades-old Austin history, and take pictures to capture it all. Riders must weigh between 75 and 300 pounds and be at least 14 years of age (requires accompanying parent/guardian). Each rider will have to sign a waiver before the Segway training.  Reservations are required for this event. Participants will need to provide their own transportation to Gliding Revolution which is walking distance from campus.
 

Plan II Honors Family Day Brunch and Model Class

Sunday, 10:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., Etter-Harbin Alumni Center (21st and San Jacinto Boulevard)
$5 per adult (age 14 and older), UT students and children under 14 are free
Plan II welcomes families its students and their families to a brunch buffet where Director Alexandra Wettlaufer will make remarks, and then families will enjoy a selection of model classes taught by Plan II faculty.
 
Simply Delicious: Parents and Students Cook
Sunday, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Central Market North (4001 N. Lamar)
$55 per person
Spend quality time in a hands-on kitchen with your Longhorn learning about essential tools, ingredients, and basic techniques for cooking healthy, delicious meals, as you create these tasty, budget-friendly dishes: Red Curry Noodle Soup, Gnocchi & Sundried Tomato Skillet, Salmon with Bok Choy & Shitake Mushrooms, Beef Koftas with Salad in Pita Pockets and Pear Chai Scones a la Mode.  A parent or guardian must sign a waiver before class for participants under 18. All should dress with safety in mind, wear completely closed flats and tie back long hair.
