2025 Transfer Family Orientation

This one-day, in-person, program introduces you to University leadership, professional staff, and current students who will share important information and advice. Your student will NOT attend Transfer Family Orientation; instead, students will register for and attend Longhorn Orientation. Upon arrival, you and your student will be directed to separate check-in locations for Transfer Family Orientation and Longhorn Orientation.

While Transfer Family Orientation is optional, we strongly encourage you to attend. You’ll go home feeling more connected to the University and equipped with conversation topics to better support your student as your family continues preparation for the transition in August.
